Chapter 5
v1-7 Parable concerning Judah as a vineyard. Awesome passage showing divine sovereignty of God & human responsibility to it. God created the world & people & everything was perfect. He loves us so much but we are free to choose to follow him or not. BUT he is likewise free to deal with us as punishment. Look at Aids for example. The innocent suffers sometimes, but it is a result of sin. Our reaction to God is our own responsibility & privilege.
V8-24 Judgement upon Judah for not producing fruit. The deceit of sin! How easy to call it by another name-- to not see it as it is --be convinced it's something else & even nurture it. That's why I need disciplers in my life so badly- so I won't be deceived.

Dear Rox,
Longing for discipling from others to our life is a courageous act and deep conviction. Awesome!
If you can go a bit further, can you write down in point form "In what specific ways I need to be discipled (not I want) in order for a transcendance in Christ."
cheers, bonnie
Dear Bonnie,
I need to be discipled:
- be real to each other
- get to know each other and have deep relationship. The best way is doing things together beside chitchat
- tell me the truth in love and no holding back
- use God's standard to help(coach, better than counsel) me
Share yours to me!
Love
Rox
