How to let our hands be strong?
Everyday Rosanna has to face different kind of trials and challenges in her life. Instead of feeling pity, she is willing to listen and accept advise/discipline from God through sisters. She told me that it was not pleasant at the time but painful. (Heb 12:11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.)
However, she always chooses to use God's way. Amen!
Through her perseverance , her faith is stronger, her conviction is deeper, her house has been rebuilding .
Zech 8:12
" the seed will grow well, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will produce its crops, and the heavens will drop their dew. I will give all these things as an inheritance to the remnant of this people."

Justice and Mercy, Not Fasting
Zechariah Chapter 7:3-10
"The people asked the Lord: Should I mourn and fast in the fifth month, as I have done fore so many years?.....the Lord replied: When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months for the past seven years, was it really for me that you fasted?.....Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another."
I easily notice other Christians' problem and give judgement. Most of the time , it happens when the Christians are brothers or they do not belongs to my B/T. It does not help the whole situation. The dangerous part is that I will fall into sin because of this. What sin? It may be -- judgement, blame shift - their behaviour or attitude affect the church, the B/T....
But where are my mercy , love towards them . Did I try my best to talk to them in love or pray for them earnestly?
God has given me a mission" Seek and save the lost". The above problem is also one of my mission too.
Ezekiel 3:17
"Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to a wicked man, ' You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his ; but you will have saved yourself.....Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righeous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself."
I have deep conviction of the above scriptures . However, I will hesitate if I need to confront brother. God uses today's QT to remind me to treat every Christians the same , there should not be any favouritism or partiality.

Convictions:
--D-Group 不是用於解决問題，而是鼓勵成長的小組。
--對神有信念後, 就可以fulfill人的需要, 那么只需 goal oriented 也就同時會解决人的問題。
--D-Group 前領袖要先求問神。
--Giving 的源動力來自有神的Fulfillment。
--Focus at the Right thing.
--勇氣來自愛神的心，此等勇氣令人心裡平安。
--簡單的心 = 清心。(冇私慾)
--用愛弟兄姊妹的心去愛肉體的家人。同時也有了傳福音的效應 。
--用屬靈的眼睛去欣賞別人。 免去投訴的破壞性。
--寫下信念，可幫助跟進進度及Fulfillment，更可和其他弟兄姊妹分享。
--「突發」D-Group 並不是應有的D-Group, 越少越好。
--Set goal 要與教會的goal 一致, 分別在於set simple target, break down into small steps and make sure it is doable within the B/T.

信實的神給予安慰
好的東西沒有記下來, 總會被忘記, 太可惜,太可惜!
每个星期日早上九点是我與余太, 潘太的一个靈修約会, 北角麥當奴是我們的聚腳地. 從開始到現在己经足足17个星期. 金花真的好厲害! 我們剛看完了哥林多前書. 今天開始看哥林多後書. 我們的得着:
一章三至七節
"在一切患難中, 他就安慰我們, 叫我們能用神所賜的安慰, 去安慰那遭各樣患難的人."
潘太---曾经经歷低落患難的時候, 不同的姊妹都用愛心安慰, 幫助她站立得穩, 就如安慰的"慰" 字是用心作字的根基, 潘太果然被安慰, 但其中最有效的方法, 可算是一位姊妹不斷用神的話語安慰她。
Roxana --我的兒子現在正面對属靈的患難, 在他所属的教會里, 他沒有任何弟兄與他一起同行, 他又沒有主动要求.最近 幾个月里, 甚至沒有去教会聚会, 我將此事分享給她們及請求兩位姊妹代為禱告, 心里頓覺安慰。 我們祈求 神會安排一位屬靈的弟兄與他同行這條属靈的路。 神是信實的, 又大有恩慈, 衪必有衪的計劃及安排, 我只要信, 而不要疑惑! (雅各1:6 只要憑着信心求, 一点不疑惑...)

"我指着信實的神說, 我們向你們所傳的道, 並沒是而又非的。"
余太---感激神對自已的付出, 衪是信實的, 無論我遇到任何患難, 都會依靠衪的力量, 堅定不移。

Discipleship
Chapter 3:7
'if you will walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here."
Chapter 4:6
"Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,"says the Lord Almighty."
The other day , Bonnie, Iris, Doris and I studied a topic" Discipleship". I think these are the main points of being how to be a successful discipler.

對神的誤解
Chapter 1:15
"But I am very angry with the nations that feel secure. I was only a little angry, but they added to the calamity."
Lots of people misunderstood God and said the unpleasant character about God:
unforgiving control-freak, unjust, jealous , racist......
Most of them say this kind of things because this is the kind of God in the Old Testament. They only read part of the Old Testament or did not spend time to read the history background. I did the same thing before.
God's punishment towards Israel was temporary. He waited for them to repent and comforted them. God came as human being and suffered on the cross in order to save us from my sins demonstrated his greatest love towards me.
Isaiah 54:7-8
"For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back. In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you."

Faith
Chapter 2: 16b
"guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith."
Today I felt a bit anxious for worrying about Michael's spiritual life. He has not attended the church for few months.
This verse reminds me again to put my faith in God and don't let Satan to let me down.
In Hebrews 11
there were so many examples showing to me that by faith God will show me victory!
I have faith to believe that love will change people's heart. I need to keep on using God's love to love Michael. Let God's love compel him to go back to the right track that God has prepared for him.
2:7-8
"For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, and from his mouth men should seek instruction --because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty. But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble;"
I am also one of God's messenger, I need to aware that whether I keep on preserving knowledge . If not, I may stumble others including my son. I also need to seek instruction from God and from other christians.

雅歌
第一次懂得欣賞這卷書.
雖然結婚己25年, 我仍可主动学習雅歌里的一對情侶, 細心欣賞丈夫的長處:
5:10 "白而且紅" 面貌的俊美
5:11 "至精的金子" 其尊貴特有的气質
5:12 "眼睛閃亮如奶洗過"
最近 發覺丈夫頭上的頭髮稀疏了那么多, 心里不但沒有欣賞之念頭, 只覺得不大順眼, 這段经文提醒自己的不是.
轉問自已, 現在的我, 有沒有仍然保持着可被丈夫讚賞え處:
1:15 "你的眼好像鴿子眼"
2:2 "百合花在荊棘內", "蘋果樹在樹林中" 獨特超凡
相愛之道:
不斷繼續欣賞對方和用言語大坦表達出來.
此書中一字也沒有提到神, 但仍可發揮它的效用, 厲害!
在日常生活當中, 活出神的話比一切更重要.

神所看顧, 所尊重的

"This is the one I esteem :
he who is humble and
contrite in spirit,
and trembles at my word. "
but not those
"They have chosen their own ways, and their souls delight in their abominations;"
Bonnie is always a great life example showing what means by being humble. She is a very gifted and talented person . She still keeps on asking around for inputs and comments. Always try to help others to extend their talents or explore their gifts but never act like teaching. Always try to help others by her own acts but not by mere words. Always try to serve in different areas .
William Law 所著的一本書(邁向虔潔生活),指導我們, 如果我們要謙卑, 那么--
....俯就你們同人的一切軟弱, 包容他們的缺点, 愛他們的優点, 鼓勵他們的美德, 補足他們的缺欠, 因他們的兴旺而快樂, 為他們的痛苦難過, 接納他們的友誼, 寬恕他們的無情, 原諒他們的惡毒, 作僕人中的僕人, 樂意坦任最低下的職位, 俯就最卑微的人.

守望者
Chapter 63:7-64:7
先知所作的禱告, 求神將應許的救贖賜下, 他像立在城上的守望者, 不歇息地呼求 (62:6), 盼望国運可以扭轉. 我有這份心對家人, 朋人, 鄰舍, 教會, 和国家嗎?

"Why , O Lord, do you make us wander from your ways and harden our hearts so we do no revere you?"
人真的是非常自私, 善忘 姑勿論神在我們身上做了多少奇事神績, 當困難來到的時候, 第一个反應仍是會責怪神. 唉! 身為媽媽的我, 想像一下如果Michael 這樣對我, 我真的好痛心啊!

Garment of salvation
Chapter 61:10
"delight greatly in the Lord, my soul rejoices in my God, For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness,"
Besides wearing the garment made of spiritual quality-- patience ,joy,.....Of course the most precious one is the garment of salvation . All these 遠勝過一切的珠宝.
Years ago I saw a lady wearing a very beautiful dress. I went forward and asked her where she got it from. Today will people admire my special garment and ask me where & how to get it. Am I proud of wearing this garment and want to show to others? Do I delight greatly or do my soul rejoices because of this.

兴起發光
Chapter 60:22
"The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mightly nation"
Due to God's glory rises upon us, I have the vision to see that the elder sisters (Golden Girls) will enlarge their group by sharing more lost souls to the kingdom.
It is so easy for me to hold back to give due to my slow of speech and tongue.
I need to keep on reminding myself . God will help me speak and will teach me what to say . Just as Chapter 59:21 said:
"My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I have in your mouth will not depart from my mouth"
I have to believe that when I rely on him and obey His word ,he will fill me with his presence and power, enabling me to get the work done .
I just have to pray for a pure heart to serve in order to honour my Lord.
James 4:8
"Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded."

神的靈與話必不離我的ロ
Chapter 59:7-8
These verses reflect a tragedy that happened yesterday in Tseung Kwan O 一名十四歲少年昨在將軍澳涉嫌駕「大膽車」，撞死一名七歲童先不顧而去，後來被警方揭發，由一名身穿童軍制服的男子「頂包」....
"Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are evil thoughts; ruin and destruction mark their way. The way of peace they do not know; their is no justice in their paths.They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks in them will know peace."
What a pity in people's life if they don't know God!
Thank God for
v. 21b
"My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of their descendants from this time on and forever,"
What a great blessing to have this gift from God!

worhsip in vain
Chapter 58
Mere outward service of God is in vain. Those people were just going through the motions. God hates and despises this. Today I must be careful about this . Never think "I have the truth' and settle back. That is the time Satan will worm his way in.
v.13b-14a "if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, then you will find your joy in the Lord," I should come humbly before God, always seeking to do his will. Not do things the way I want . Going through the motions of worship, QT, repentance, will not please God if I deliverately disobeying Him in other areas of my life.

HOUSE OF PRAYER TO PLEASE GOD
Chapter 56:7
"I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations."
This happened in the Golden Girls' house church yesterday! Every Golden Girl took turn to pray to God.
Chapter 56:11 God's accusation against the wicked of which including :
"They are shepherds who lack understanding; they all turn to their own way, each seeks his own gain."
Understanding:
-- to know
--feel closely the nature of (a person. a feeling)
--have found out

Evangelism
Chapter 55
What a gloriously uplifting chapter. I think I could use this in evangelism when I'm talking to a person about their need for salvation:
1. God calls all to receive his free grace (v.1)
2. Only God's salvation truly satisfies (v.2)
3. All nations and people can come into this new convenant (v. 3-5)
4. God warns everyone to seek him while he can be found (v.6)
5. Our response must be one of true repentance (v.7a)
6. pardon & forgiveness are freeely possible (v.7b)
7. God is above all but He can still be experienced (v.8-9)
8. God's word is powerful & will do its saving work (v.10-11)
9. Great joy occurs when people are saved (v.12)
10. Fruit that glorifies good is everlasting (v.13)
HOW IMPORTANT AND NECESSARY IT IS TO SAVE SOULS!

God's compassion
Chapter 53
Whenever I feel hurt, sad, unfair......I will read this scripture. By looking at Jesus' wounds , my heart will be softened and got the healing from Jesus.
Chapter 54:1-8
Zion's barrenness is over, the glory is coming., God will stick to his promise . The city will be rebuilt. This reminds me of the ICOC. Lets focus our eyes on God and rebuild our kingdom to honor God.
