Jesus was never called a pack rat. He encouraged his disciples to travel light, leaving their extra staffs and tunics and even money behind.First and foremost, however, they chose to live a simple life, possessing only what they needed for their mission. Learn to appreciate the beauty of something without having to own it. Most importantly, keep the unique mission God has given me in this life clearly in mind. Then, let my home be a reflection of that purpose.
Luke 12:15
Jesus said, "watch out and guard yourselves from every kind of greed, because your true life is not made up of the things you own, no matter how rich you may be."
Matt 6:20-21
Jesus said,: Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steak. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
"There is nothing wrong with us possessing riches. The wrong comes when riches possess us." Billy Graham

My pride-- Did not ask enough
Chapter 10:1
"Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime;"
Did I ask God enough? No, I didn't because of my pride. What a waste! Miss a lot of chances to learn and grow. The frangrance of life of which prepared by God won't be able to spread everywhere through me because of my pride. I am not able to help the other to get close to God because of my pride. Thank God for shaking me up through Sunday's lunch with the B/T.
Thank God for his amazing love letting things happen in my life for me to learn continuously, Amen!
10:11-12
"They will pass through the sea of trouble; the surging sea will be subdued and the depths of the Nile will dry up. Assyria's pride will be brought down and Egypt's scepter will pass away. I will strengthen them in the Lord and in his name they will walk,"
What a wonderful and comfortable message from God !

Consecrate myself in order to see God's miracle
Chapter 9:9
"your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey,"
Do I go to my sisters with righteousness and salvation (hope, joy...), gentle spirit and humble heart(willing to learn and ask more and more) ? If not, how will they be able to feel the love, caring from me.
Joshua 3:5 "Joshua told the people, Consecrate (自潔)yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you." Without repentence, I can't see miracle. I cannot change others, but I can change myself through Christ. In order to be able to see God's miracle working in my life , I have to consecrate myself first . I do my part and God will do the rest.

The Lord will care for the teens
It is so inspiring to know that the Hong Kong region teens' parents initate to unit together . Instead of waiting for others to help, they work together to find a way to meet the spiritual needs of their teens.
Chapter 9:12
"你們被囚而有指望的人, 都要轉回保障, 我今日說明, 我必加倍賜福給你們。"
I truly believe these parents will pass through the sea of trouble; for God will strengthen them and in his name they will walk. (Chapter 10:11-12)
